Floral Nailpolish

I had my attempt of trying this nailpolish:

And this is what I came up with:

I really like it :D Hope you do too :D

Old chucks

I'm sure that everyone owns this pair of extremely old chucks, that you no longer wear because they look old and trashy... I had one of those, I had this black all-star since 2008, and I sort of do not wear it a lot anymore. So I decided to pimp it up..
All I needed was an old studded belt that I do not use anymore -cause I have two so I didn't actually throw anything away hehe- and took off its studs...

And I studded them on the shoe, to come up with this great outcome that I am actually satisfied with :)

These chucks were so dear to me, and I was afraid that I would ruin them, but the awesomest thing about this experience is that the studs come out without leaving much of a trace behind, But I don't think I'd remove them cause I like them that way :) If you wanna try this go for it, it's really fun, though it gets your fingertips extremely numb and totally ruins your nails, it's all worth it, and it's not hard at all...

The Call

So as I have mentioned in an earlier post the Circassians are seeking a way back to our homeland, and a few weeks ago Al Ahli Ensemble for Circassian Folklore held a great festival in the ancient city of Jerash in Jordan.. A great message was delivered by showing a video that surely touched the heart of every Circassian watching it:

In between the video the troupe performed great dances, and these are the photos I captured in the festival:

New camera..

So I've been saving money for over 2 years now, so I can get 2000 dollars to afford the D7000 camera.. And I finally got it! XD
I was super happy. and I still am :] I never leave it at home, even if I'm going to throw the trash.. I carry it around everywhere, Yet I take good care of it.

Circassian Dancing

My origins get back to a mountainous country in the Caucasus. Circassia was located at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. That was all before the Russian army took over after The Circassian War that lasted a 101 years. After Circassians were brutally murdered and forced to leave their homes they left to Turkey, Syria, Jordan and many other countries around the world.
Our folklore dancing is our way to stay connected with our great history and to keep reminding ourselves that no matter how many years have passed since the war ended we are still the people we used to be and that we still have a home to go back to, and we are not giving up on that idea, not now, not ever.
Those are some photos I took during the Circassian Folklore concert.

Coincidence?

Yesterday morning I walked out of the house to go print some papers at 9 in the morning after sleeping for about 4 hours that night. Ahead...
